We loved this place! The building is fantastic and filled with cozy corners to relax in. The common areas are beautifully decorated with pictures, books, and great furniture. The staff were lovely and they even gave us our room early and an extra breakfast. The buffet dinner and breakfast were both excellent, with a wide variety of delicious dishes to choose from.
We would recommend this hotel to anyone.

If you're looking for a budget-friendly hotel in the mountains with great food and service, this place is a gem. the rooms may be simple but they are clean, which is all that matters. the hotel's public areas are really cozy, warm, and full of history. the location is ideal, as it's near notable tourist spots like a ski resort and a viewpoint that's not for the faint-hearted. Best of all, the homemade Norwegian buffet dinner and breakfast were both amazing and abundant!
The outdated bathrooms in the rooms. that was quickly forgotten with all the wonderful things this hotel has to offer.

Room lacked amenities, but location and food will win you over. No TV, kettle or minibar in room but if you're looking for a great view, this is the perfect place for you. We could see the mountains from our window and the nearby area was delightful. Dining was the highlight of our stay. Buffets had free flowing drinks and really delicious Norwegian dishes to be savored.
Hotel operates on a low budget, and this hotel is no exception. No lifts, and no bell boys to help transport luggage up and down the stairs.
